First European Hydrogen Skills Strategy unveiled

European hydrogen skills
We are pleased to share with you the European Hydrogen Skills Strategy, one of the main milestones in the journey of the Green Skills for Hydrogen project.

This strategy offers valuable insights into the current educational and training landscape for hydrogen skills development in Europe. Its findings point to the way forward in preparing our workers for the rapid scale up and deployment of hydrogen technologies.

The strategy is the result of an extensive study conducted by our project partners between November 2022 and March 2023. The study involved 146 hydrogen stakeholders from 23 European countries who collaborated to identify the occupational profiles in high demand in the sector and analyse the required level of “hydrogen knowledge” for these roles.

Whether you are a seasoned professional in the field, an educator, or a passionate advocate for clean energy, we invite you to explore the results of this study, which provides a first-hand picture of the current hydrogen skills demand and what’s required for the future.

We are excited about the transformative impact this strategy will have on the hydrogen industry and are grateful for your continued support in advancing clean energy solutions across Europe.

Green Skills for Hydrogen is a project financed by the European Commission ERASMUS+ programme.
