International Conference on Sustainable Energy Education

The First International Conference on Sustainable Energy Education (SEED) aims to become a forum for researchers, academics and practitioners to exchange ideas, experiences, opinions, and research results relating to the preparation of students, teaching/learning methodologies, the organization of educational systems, partnerships and funding and governance related to Sustainable Energy Education.

The SEED conference serves as a global platform for building an international learning community focused on Energy Education. It facilitates the exchange of knowledge, offers opportunities, and endeavors to foster a collective vision. This community is designed to engage various stakeholders, including academia, industry, public authorities, public entities, NGOs, and foundations.

The Program Committee encourages the submission of extended abstracts that communicate applied and empirical findings of interest to higher education and vocational education & training professionals, researchers, and practitioners.

Key topics include, but are not limited to, the following subjects:

  • Track 1: Teaching and Learning on Sustainable Energy Education.
  • Track 2: Partnerships, Collaboration on Sustainable Energy Education
  • Track 3: Governance & Funding for Sustainable Energy Education
  • Track 4: Sustainable Education

Green Skills for Hydrogen has been selected as a “best practice” in Track 1: Teaching and Learning within the context of the COVE SEED (Centre of Vocational Excellence – Sustainable Energy Education) project. This initiative is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge energy education tailored to meet the demands of the Sustainable Energy job market.

The collaborative partners of the COVE SEED project aspire to articulate and disseminate effective practices in the realm of sustainable energy education. The goal is to enable the affiliated Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs) within the project to glean insights from innovative approaches for upskilling and reskilling, thereby promoting the exchange of knowledge among the five European regions involved.
