The Cluster of Bioeconomy and Environment of Western Macedonia (CluBE) is a non-profit company established among local actors and stakeholders of the Region of Western Macedonia, Greece. CluBE emerged from the collaboration of regional players, analysing bioenergy and biomass potentials, the core cluster structures and innovative energy systems.
CluBE enhances collaboration and regional knowledge by promoting synergies between stakeholders in the fields of bioeconomy and environment. CluBE is also developing R&D and business activities in order to reinforce circular economy and green hydrogen in the region.
The members of CluBE (currently more than 40) have successfully completed several European Projects in the field of research and dissemination of knowledge. CluBE has many affiliations in European networks and currently it implements 31 projects amongst its initiatives. CluBE’s areas of expertise regarding proposal writing and implementation are stakeholder engagement, regional replication of local demo sites, communication and dissemination and mobilisation of entrepreneurship.

Brussels-based Communication Package specialises in the design and implementation of communication campaigns for European and international institutions. The agency provides tailor-made communication solutions to focus attention on the goals and results of European funded projects, from visual identity and branding services, content creation, publications, and audiovisual production, to web design, social media campaigns and event management. Key recent projects include Horizon Europe, Interreg and Erasmus+ funded initiatives like: Circ4Life, Interreg Europe Cyber project, Territoria, European Portal for Energy Efficiency in Buildings, Stepwise, EU SafeCare, Early Warning Europe, Women4Cyber, among others.
As the project’s Communication and Dissemination leader, Communication Package is responsible for getting the word out about the creation of the European Hydrogen Skills Alliance and the rollout of the VET programme. This includes setting up the project’s website and an Alliance members’ platform, designing and producing promotional tools, and managing social networks and events.

Drenthe College is a school for vocational education in the North of the Netherlands. The school provides education to both youth and adults. Training courses are adapted to the needs of the companies in the region. One of the specialisations is the energy transition. Drenthe College is one of the partners in the RegioCampus Emmen. RegioCampus Emmen is a partnership of the University of Groningen, NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences, Drenthe College, Municipality of Emmen and the Province of Drenthe (founding organisations). It is a place where vocational training, higher education & research, and industry come together, with a focus on four topics: green chemistry, energy, manufacturing industry, and health & wellbeing.

The company is headquartered in Grenoble, France, where it was founded in 1991, and has a subsidiary in Singapore. Leveraging its globally recognised databases, business intelligence processes, and prospective models, Enerdata assists clients – which include companies, investors, and public authorities around the world – in designing their policies, strategies, and business plans.

Foundation for the development of new Hydrogen technologies in Aragon is a private non-profit organisation, supported by the Government of Aragon and different industry sectors, supporting the development of strategic projects since 2003, in the short medium and long term in the field of hydrogen and fuel cell technologies in order to create employment, generate wealth and improve the competitiveness of the industrial sector in the Aragon region.

With more than 450 members, France Hydrogène brings together the stakeholders of the French hydrogen sector across the entire value chain: major industrial groups developing large-scale projects, innovative SMEs and start-ups supported by laboratories and research centres of excellence, associations, competitiveness clusters and local authorities committed to the deployment of hydrogen solutions. Privileged contact organization of public authorities, France Hydrogène is working to structure an efficient, competitive and innovative French hydrogen sector, share and promote his challenges, communicate on the benefits and features of technologies, facilitate societal consultation around national objectives and local initiatives France Hydrogène supports the sector as close as possible to the territories thanks to its 12 local delegations. Hydrogen Europe is the European association representing the interest of the hydrogen industry and its stakeholders and promoting hydrogen as an enabler of a zero-emission society. Our vision is to propel global carbon neutrality by accelerating European hydrogen industry.

Hydrogen Europe Research is a European association gathering research centers and universities conducting research in the field of fuel cells and hydrogen. With more than 130 members, covering a wide range of competences and infrastructures, Hydrogen Europe Research actively promotes scientific excellence, intellectual property development and technology transfer in Europe. ICSI Energy, the former National Center for Hydrogen & Fuel Cells, is a research and development facility within the National Research and Development Institute for Cryogenics and Isotopic Technologies – ICSI Rm. Valcea with the mission to implement, develop and disseminate hydrogen-based technologies in Romania, as well as to support national priority policies in the field of energy and environment. It has an exceptional infrastructure for the entire process chain of the new energy revolution. The human resource is focused on the development of technologies, products, and services that contribute to achieve a “hydrogen economy” in Romania.

Acad. Evgeni Budevski Institute of Electrochemistry and Energy Systems IEES-BAS, (Central Laboratory of Electrochemical Power Sources – CLEPS from 1967 till 2004), Bulgaria is a unit of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. Its mission is to develop, disseminate and preserve scientific knowledge as regards the production, industrial application and operational know-how of efficient advanced technologies implemented in electrochemical energy systems and to train highly specialized staff as highly capable experts and consultants. Scientific research activities are currently structured into four thematic subject areas: Batteries and Supercapacitors, Hydrogen and Fuel Cells, Energy Materials, and Theoretical Electrochemistry and Electrochemical Methods.

IndustriAll European Trade Union is a federation of independent and democratic trade unions representing manual and non-manual workers in the metal, chemical, energy, mining, textile, clothing and footwear sectors and related industries and activities. Nel Hydrogen is the first dedicated hydrogen company on the Oslo Stock Exchange. We have our roots from the hydrogen activities of Norsk Hydro, dating back to 1927. Our main products are hydrogen production plants for industry and energy applications, hydrogen fueling stations for the transport sector, and power-to-gas/power-to-power solutions for the renewable industry.

NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences is firmly rooted in the northern part of the Netherlands where we are based, while at the same time maintaining a strong international focus. Politecnico di Torino (POLITO) boasts over 30 years of research experience in the sector of technologies and processes for hydrogen. Founding member in 2007 of Hydrogen Research Europe – HER and member of the Italian Hydrogen and Fuel Cells Association – H2IT, POLITO is currently coordinator of about 10 projects in the European Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking Platform (FCH-JU) and partner in about 30 projects in the same Platform.

The Regional Pomeranian Chamber of Commerce was established to combine the business opportunities among entrepreneurs of the Pomorskie region in Poland. We are a partner in building strong enterprises, active self-government and science cooperation with business. The Chamber manages and coordinates all actions and projects carried out by the Cluster of Hydrogen Technologies. The Cluster launched its activities in August 2017. Its mission is to initiate actions to increase the importance of hydrogen technologies, by supporting members of the Cluster and cooperating entities in the development of innovative solutions for energy efficiency and low-carbon economy together with a tailored educational schemes fitted to the market.

Tartu Regional Energy Agency (TREA) is the only energy agency in Estonia. TREA has been established in 2009 by Tartu City Government and Tartu Science Park. TREA supports the energy transition of the South Estonian region and actively participates in international cooperation networks, introducing the latest examples of innovation across Europe. In recent years, TREA has been more involved in nationwide actions in cooperation with the Estonian ministries, dealing with housing sector and local energy management and is one of the forerunners in energy poverty and energy communities’ developments in Estonia. TREA provides technical consultancy and expertise to homeowners in the field of reconstruction and energy management for homeowners, and has participated and is participating in various reconstruction, renewable energy and energy community projects. TREA experts deal with energy management at the building level, but also at the household or organization/company level, at the municipality level and state level. TREA professions are energy efficiency of buildings, renewable energy systems, energy communities, fostering cooperation between the public and the private sector.

The University of Perugia is one of the oldest in Italy and in Europe. WindEurope is the voice of the wind industry, actively promoting wind energy across Europe. We have over 400 members from across the whole value chain of wind energy: wind turbine manufacturers, component suppliers, power utilities and wind farm developers, financial institutions, research institutes and national wind energy associations.
